Black Clover is a popular anime centered around the main protagonist Asta, a boy born without magic into a world where magic is everything. As a member of the Black Bulls, Asta plans to work hard and one day become the Wizard King. Throughout his journey, Asta comes across extraordinarily powerful characters with unique abilities. What makes Black Clover so popular is that in a world with diverse magical abilities, no two characters are the same.
Some are blessed with dark magic, elemental magic, and even the ability to manipulate time. However, fans have witnessed a number of characters with incredible physical abilities, including inhuman speed. By enhancing their speed with magic or just training really hard, some can travel at the speed of light. This list will determine just who is the fastest of them all.

Noelle Silva
As a member of one of the royal families, Noelle is an exceptionally powerful mage who possesses a terrifying amount of mana. Throughout Black Clover, Noelle has transformed from an arrogant girl who couldn't control her power into a selfless and determined Magic Knight capable of controlling her magic and overwhelming some of the strongest characters. Noelle uses magic to enhance her speed and uses creation magic to produce Valkyrie Armor—a mana infused suit of armor that increases the user's speed and physical abilities. With these enhancements, Noelle is capable of keeping up with almost anyone.

Vetto
Known as Vetto The Despair, the muscle-bound villain is a force to be reckoned with. An elf reincarnated as a human, his form takes on a beast-like appearance, a look befitting of the man and his abilities. Vetto uses beast magic, an ability unique to him. As an elf, he is loved by mana and uses this to enhance his already frightening physical attacks. Throughout the series, Vetto kept up with Luck Voltia's lightning spell, outpaced Yami, and even dodged the attacks of Mereoleona, a Magic Knights Captain. As his name suggests, Vetto brings despair to those who confront him.

Asta
Despite being born without magic, Asta is a formidable opponent due to his physical gifts that he enhanced through extensive daily training, and his use of anti-magic. With these gifts, he hopes to one day become the Wizard King. During the Magic Knights exam, Asta moves so quickly that William Vangeance, leader of the Golden Dawn, assumes Asta is using magic to enhance his abilities. Through the use of his anti-magic, Asta can increase his speed even further. These enhancements used in unison with his Ki-sensing abilities allow Asta to fight those of extraordinary power.

Yuno
Unlike his rival Asta, Yuno was born with an immense amount of magic. Despite his young age, Yuno is already Vice-Captain of the Golden Dawn and has demonstrated a power that could rival some Magic Knights Captains.
Yuno uses his four-leaf Clover Grimoire to unleash terrifying wind magic and is served by the wind spirit called Sylph, who further enhances his abilities. Yuno increases his speed using magic and in his Spirit Dive form, the young mage is capable of surpassing Light Magic, the fastest magic type in Black Clover.

Luck Voltia
The battle-obsessed member of the Black Bulls, Luck is an extremely talented yet problematic mage who loves to fight anyone he considers strong. He impresses all Magic Knight Captains during the entrance exams, however, he almost kills his opponent, and therefore Yami, captain of the Black Bulls, is the only one willing to recruit him. Luck has shown impressive speed throughout the series. By coating his legs with lightning magic, Luck blitzes his opponents and uses this ability to dodge attacks from the immensely powerful Vetto.

Patolli
Patolli is the former leader of The Eye Of The Midnight Sun and an Elf loved by mana. Motivated by his hatred towards humans, Patolli wishes to destroy the Clover Kingdom and replace it with a safe haven for elves. He possesses extraordinary magical skills, capable of confronting Magic Knights Captains and even the Wizard King. Patolli uses light magic, allowing him to generate and manipulate light. It is the fastest type of magic in the Black Clover universe and by mastering it, Patolli dodged multiple attacks by the Wizard King, Julius Novachrono.

Zagred (The Devil)
Zagred is a high-ranking Devil and a cruel, sadistic individual. Zagred has no desire for peace and would love to see the humans and elves destroy one another. He possesses a terrifying amount of magic and mana and wields Kotodama magic that allows the Devil to change his surroundings through the spoken word. He can manifest almost any object and copy the magic of others. His speed is so great that he dodges attacks from Asta, Patolli, and Magic Knight Captain Nozel Silva. Despite his overwhelming power, he is unable to keep up with Licht and Lumiere during their battle.

Julius Novachrono
The Wizard King and strongest mage in the Clover Kingdom, Julius Novachrono is seriously overpowered. Possessing Time Magic, Julius can manipulate time; speeding it up, slowing it down and storing it for later use.
His ability is so unique that very few characters stand a chance against the Wizard King in a one-on-one fight. During his battle with Patolli, Julius avoids the Elf's attacks, despite Patolli using light magic. Additionally, Julius can see into the future and can therefore predict the moves of his opponent.

Lumiere Clover
As the first Wizard King, Lumiere Clover was an immensely powerful mage. He possessed a high level of magic that was uncommon amongst humans and used it to protect those who needed his help. Lumiere uses light magic, the fastest magic type. This allows him to fly across the entire Clover Kingdom in seconds, overwhelm the devil Zagred with his speed, and battle Licht, an incredibly powerful elf. The first Wizard King dreamed of a world where all living beings lived in harmony. But despite his pacifism, Lumiere was a devastating opponent in combat.

Licht
Licht is the leader of the Elf Tribe who desired peace between the humans and elves. Licht is a user of sword magic and possesses almost an infinite amount of mana. The Elf is as strong as the first Wizard King and fights alongside Lumiere in their battle against The Devil. During the fight, Licht lands repeated blows on Zagred who is unable to keep up with the elf's movements. Additionally, Licht has outpaced Asta's Ki-sensing abilities, something only a few characters have successfully managed.
